You may direct your referral specifically to one of the doctors, or as a general referral to GSC and our Admin team will discuss with your patient their preference for doctor, location or timeframe and book them with the doctor best suited or most convenient.

All referrals are triaged by a Gastroenterologist on receipt, and our Admin team will then contact the patient to book an appointment. Patients who are triaged as being suitable for Direct Access Endoscopy will be booked for a procedure and a telehealth appointment prior to confirm suitability to proceed and obtain consent for the procedure.

We endeavour to book all patients in for appointments within 1-3 weeks and procedures can usually be booked within a fortnight of consultation. GSC is happy to organise a priority appointment for patients needing an urgent referral. Please make a note on your referral if this is required.
